Frohoss Posted January 8, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 8, 2014 (edited) Are there any hotel's that offer free shuttle service to/from Orlando International Airport (MCO), as well as, free shuttle service to/from Port Canaveral? My family of 4 (2 adults, 2 Kids) are cruising in December 2014. Arriving in Orlando one day prior to our cruise. I understand I can hire/rent a car etc. I just want to know if free shuttle services are even possible. Let me know if more specific information is needed to answer my question. Thanks in advance. JohninDC Posted January 13, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 13, 2014 If they offer to shuttle you for "free" to a port that is a 50-60 minute drive away, the cost of the shuttle is just built into your inflated room cost; your best bet is to either book your own transportation/shuttle or rent a car. rnrcruzin Posted January 13, 2014 #3 Share Posted January 13, 2014 I lived there for 17 years and don't know of any "free" shuttles between MCO and Port Canaveral. I would rent a car at MCO and drive out to port. The drive is a no-brainer as it's a stright shot to the beach, in fact you drive right by the port. You have more freedom to explore. Also on embarcation day you can drop everyone off at the terminal, take the rental to the drop off point, and the rental car agency will take you back to the terminal. Pretty simple.
