Please help regarding shows

Recommended Posts

I will be cruising on Explorer of the Seas. I noticed people talking about pre-booking shows. Is that something I have to do and if so, when does it have to be done? I took cruises before, but the last one I took with Royal was in 1990 and things have changed since then. I appreciate any help that you give me.

Thanks!!

You do not have to book shows on the EOS.

However, the ice show is a small venue, and you need to get tickets for that. You can get them on the ship, very easy to do.

You can book on the website prior to your cruise. It's in your pre-cruise planner under reservations.

You can book all shows there, note that you are not required to book but if you do you get an earlier entry and better seating. Having said that shows were not crowded and although I booked all of them I didn't think afterwards that it was necessary.

Exception is ice show, this tends to be busier and it is recommended to book this one.

Note there is no charge for this.

As already noted in post #2, there are no advance show reservations for Explorer.
