tennisqueen Posted January 9, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 9, 2014 Although I've just read that Travel & Leisure magazine has named Seven Mile Beach one of the best beaches on Earth, particularly for families, I will be traveling with my husband and would like to steer clear of families if at all possible. Can anyone recommend a beach that would attract more adults than kids (not meant to be read as looking for a nude/topless beach, just one where the atmosphere is a little more quiet and calm!) bookbabe Posted January 9, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 9, 2014 Try Royal Palms - https://royalpalmscayman.com - if you're looking for one of the beach clubs. I have generally found that because their pool is adults-only, they don't tend to attract quite as many families. You're unlikely to find anywhere that is truly adults-only, however... LynneL Posted January 10, 2014 #4 Share Posted January 10, 2014 bookbabe - How did you get to Royal Palms? Could we take a bus? If you took a cab, how much was the fare?
bookbabe Posted January 10, 2014 #5 Share Posted January 10, 2014 How did *I* get to Royal Palms? I drove my car. From the cruise terminal, you can either take the public bus for $2.50 or a shared-ride taxi for about $4. See the multitude of "how to get to the beach" threads for more info...
