Blue Lagoon - Scuabagirl question

It's easy to do it on your own. We did when we were staying in Nassau. We just booked online before the trip and took a taxi to the ferry terminal.

The main thing you'll want to be careful about is that the ferry times work with your time in port.

Looking for some help...Carnival is no longer offering Blue Lagoon Excursions. How hard is it to do on our own???

I know Scubagirl is local...looking for her input and anyone else that has done it on their own.

You can book direct with the island since they no longer offer it through the cruise line. They have an agreement with some lines that prevent them from booking passengers direct, but since that has ended you should be fine to do so.

Go to http://bahamasbluelagoon.com and do your booking that way.

The only difference is that you have to take a taxi from the terminal for about $5 ea to the paradise island terminal. You then catch the ferry to the Island. As OP stated, make sure you check the return ferry times to give yourself at least an hour to get back before you need to be on board.

Does anyone know where to find the ferry schedule?? This looks like a great place, but I would want to know exactly how much I would be at Blue Lagoon. Thanks!!

Here is what the website states "Our boats depart for Blue Lagoon Island at 8:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Our boats depart from Blue Lagoon Island at: 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m."
