We spent time at the Bugaloe bar on the pier and enjoyed the beach but have not done a day pass at the RIU. We toured the RIU property and resort because we stay at other RIU's but didn't have any need for the facilities as we were there in the evening.

Have you been to Aruba before? Spending the day on one of the beaches then enjoying the happy hour at Bugaloe is a nice day. I don't think a day pass is necessary unless you want the service and smenities that come with that.

We also took the snorkel wreck tour and that included a lunch at Bugaloe, another nice day. Would not recommend the horse tour.
