Beverage purchase available at iah

We are flying into IAH mid morning on Saturday for the Jan 18 sailing!! Yeay!! Can anyone tell me if there is wine (etc) available for purchase right at the airport? Want to bring our wine allowance on the cruise but would prefer to pick it up in Huston to avoid packing in the checked luggage - strict weight restriction on the flight and every bit will help!

 

 

If not at the IAH anywhere in transit that we can have the taxi stop at?

Would never recommend purchasing anything at the airport (not sure they sell liquor, except in Duty Free) as prices are the highest.

Are you staying in Houston or Galveston?

There are grocery stores and liquor stores in both. Liquor stores not open on Sunday and no wine or beer purchase before noon,

A taxi will stop where ever you ask.

Which port are you going out of? IAH to Galveston is a loooooooong and expensive cab ride. Bayport is going to hit your pocketbook pretty hard as well for a taxi.

Yes we have dicsovered that transportation to bayport is not just a small cab ride!

My dh has booked a cab for 4 for 80

Better than 115!
