Which would you choose Norwegian Dawn or Carnival Liberty?

We are looking at Easter Break cruises. We will be taking our 16 DD too. Would you recommend Norwegian Dawn or Carnival Liberty? Ports of call are the same.

I cruise both NCL and Carnival. I prefer Carnival and the Liberty happens to be my favorite ship.

Norwegian is a sleeper. We went one time on them and everyone was asleep it seems like by 8 pm.

we have sailed on both....the Liberty far outweighs the Dawn in our opinion.....with all the 2.0 upgrades it is hard to beat.....

Have sailed both Carnival and NCL and prefer NCL. Just got off Dawn a couple of weeks ago and loved it, but it is not a 'bells and whistles' ship. No idea about the Liberty. I'd check out the reviews of each and make a decision.

 

I will say, I heard that Dawn had some embarkation and debarkation issues due to being an open loop cruise (picking up Brits in Cozumel). It did not affect my cruise but may affect yours.

Go Carnival. We did the Dawn last Spring Break, never again. Absolutely the worst food in in 18 cruises on 5 different lines.
