Changing MDR time on Allure

I booked in July for a March cruise and could only get the late dining option. My TA says that changing to the earlier dining option can only be arranged on board with the Maitre D. Has anyone had success trying to change it before then?

Your TA can call Royal and check if the early seating is open.

Yes..this happens all the time. If possible, get on the wait list now, for the time you prefer, and then, check onboard. They really try to please!

Have you checked into my time dining? This might give you some alternate times if you really want to eat in the main dining room. Our last few times on the Allure we never made it to the main dining room as there are so many great dining options on the ship.

Two options, have your TA call RCI and put you on the wait-list for early dining or do MTD.
