Potty trained 2 year old...nursery questions

Hi, we are taking our 2 and 4 year olds on a Disney Cruise in 2 weeks and I was curious about how the nursery staff handles potty trained kids. He is nowhere close to 3 (Just turned 2 a month ago) so he can't go to the kids' club. Is there a potty for him to go to in there? Will they help him (I know the staff can't help the kids in the Club)? He is pretty good about telling us when he has to go but still needs help getting his pants on and off and getting situated on the potty- he's very small for his age. Also he has occasional accidents especially if he is playing and doesn't want to stop. Will they change his clothes if we provide them?

A 2 year old would be in the nursery. The only exceptions to be allowed in Oceaneer's Club/Lab would be a 2 year old that is within one month of his birthday, and fully potty trained. Fully potty trained in Disney-speak means able to recognize that he needs to use the toilet, undress, clean up, redress, and wash his hands without any assistance.

The nursery doesn't have a toilet for the kids. I'm not real sure, but I believe that the nursery staff can change kid's clothes. If I'm wrong, someone will correct me. :)

Yes I wasn't expecting him to be able to go to the club. Really no potty at all? It seems like since they cater to the up to 3 crowd they would have one. Lots of 2 year olds are potty trained. I know if I get called to take him to the potty he will expect me to take him with me when I leave. I would think that since they can change diapers they can also help kids go to the potty.

Schmoo, are you sure that there is no child sized toilet in the nursery?

They can definitely change clothing if needed (in the nursery, not in the Oceaneer's Club.) But as noted, there are often partially trained kids in the nursery--those not old enough or "fully" trained enough for the OC. I haven't had a baby in the nursery as part of our group for a long time, so don't want to give a firm answer, but it would only make sense for them to have one. Especially since when training kids say then need to go, they mean "right this minute." No time to call mom from elsewhere on the ship.

Well, I know there wasn't one on the Wonder or Magic (although there could be one there now ). Under 3s who were trained enough to ask to use the toilet (but still needed assistance with clothes and such) were escorted by a nursery CM to the one in Oceaneer's Club. I think I've read that the Dream class ships do have a toilet in the nursery, but I don't know for sure.

I think your information and experiences are incorrect/or things have changed.

OP I think if you refer to Moki'smommy's post for a more learned opinion and the post above from Frogger22 for an up to date experience you will get the best information.
