Harbor Lights is more low key during the day than Boat Yard. It's about 7-10 min between the 2. At HL, you purchase a chair and umbrella for 15. You can have lunch at their beach bar and just hang out. Vendors will pass by you offering all sorts of tours, aloe, clothing and jewelry. Which is the same at BY.

BY has more of higher energy level with the water games, music, etc. HL = low key.

Either way its a fun day on a great beach!

And if you're on the island overnight (long-stay visitor in a hotel)

Harbour Lights is a major meat market, late-night-club and pickup spot among the locals!

Don't get there much before 11:30 or 12 midnight

coz it's only just warming up.

Back in my divorced days

I think they used to close it all down and throw you out at 4 a.m.

Act accordingly ;)
