littlered87 Posted January 21, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 21, 2014 This will be our first time in St Thomas, we have an excursion booked - Snuba at Coral World & we would like to get some lunch & check out shops near port & then go to Magens bay afterward since we still have several hours in port after the excursion... Any suggestions for where to eat ..or is there anything close to port? shops by port ?
sail7seas Posted January 21, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 21, 2014 Whether you dock at Havensight or at Crown Bay, there are shops right at both docks. Havensight has many more but Crown Bay has added some since Princess and HAL first started going there on a regular basis. Oasis and Allure also dock there as well as other ships. You will find souvenirs and such at both port shopping areas.

The dock and Coral World are on opposite sides and then Magens is on the side of Coral World. Maybe have lunch at beautiful Coki Beach which is in walking distance to Coral World. Stay at Coki ( great snokeling) or go to Magens for swimming and lunch. Tons of shopping in port.
O2B@Cagain Posted January 21, 2014 #4 Share Posted January 21, 2014 You will be docking at Havensight. There are restaurants and shops there. The better restaurants in the vicinity are Barefoot Buddha and Delly Deck. If you walk next door to Yacht Haven Grande, there are more shops and restaurants. If I am reading your trip counter correctly, you will be traveling in September. You may find a few places closed, because it is low season. On the other hand, the beaches should be blissfully empty and the weather can be heavenly.
