Lisbon AeroBus and 24 hour Travel Card ??s

Recommended Posts

I thought I had figured all this out, but here are my questions:

When you purchase a ticket on the AeroBus from the airport to central city, can you use the ticket to ride on the buses and trams in the city for 24 hours? I thought I read that on the AeroBus site, but now I can't find it. I think I remember that rides on Metro aren't included, however. Is this correct?

Also, for the 24hr ticket that you purchase with your Viva Viagem card, can you ride the elevadors (elevators) like Gloria and Santa Justa? You can also use the Metro, right? What about the ferry from Cais do Sodre across the river to Calcilhas (Almada?)? Does anyone know? If so, thanks!

I think AeroBus ticket allows usage of Carris buses only. However metro is now in the airport (red line). http://www.metrolisboa.pt/eng/customer-info/diagrams-and-maps/network-diagram/ You can purchase 24hr full metro/bus ticket there 1 day ticket Carris/Metro. Elevator is included but I not sure the ferry (probably not). Ask when you buy the ticket.
