Flocked pants

Hi Everyone,

 

I got a beautiful pair of flocked pants at Christmas time and just love them. You know the ones that are all in right now - black with a patterned "velvet" look on them. Anyway, my sister says the flocking makes them too winterish for a cruise.

 

Is she right? I think she may be but they are really flattering on me.

I think they're a little wintery looking for a Caribbean cruise. That is not to say you 'cannot' wear them. Of course, it is your choice.

I think they will look odd if you are in the Caribbean (you don't say where you are cruising). There will be people in white linen and tropical prints, because the same people who say "wear these flocked pants" also tell people who ask about lightweight summery clothing & tropical prints to wear those as well.

 

SURE you absolutely should wear what you want. But I think the mismatch looks odd and climate inappropriate, no matter the temp inside the ship.

I have a pair of velvet leggings that I take on cruises. Paired with a nice top, they look elegant for dinner. They are so soft I love them.
