Bo59rt Posted January 28, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 28, 2014 tried to search for this but it kept taking me to reviews. Getting married while at St. Thomas, wedding planner wants to know if Carnival's rule of thumb is back on ship an hour or half an hour before ship is set to leave. I for the life of me can not remember! She wants us back a half an hour before our "back on ship" time. Anyone know if it is always half an hour before or an hour before?? Just got back from Liberty. If we were set to sail at 5:30, we were supposed to be back on board by 5:
sailor_jimc Posted January 28, 2014 #3 Share Posted January 28, 2014 Make sure the planner realizes that "ship's time" and local time may not be the same. If they are needing to know if its an hour or half hour and when you get there and ship's time is an hour off from local time... well you get the idea... Bo59rt Posted January 28, 2014 Author #4 Share Posted January 28, 2014 Thanks! I was leaning towards a half and hour.... and for the whole ship/shore time.... St. Thomas reverts back to the same time as eastern time in late march, Which works for me they will be the same.
