AMA onboard credit and gratuities

My mom, sister and myself are going on a cruise on the AMA Prima in March. We each have 100Euro of on board credit. Can we use that for our gratuities? I have read in the Q&A section of the brochure that you can put your gratuities on your on board account. How does this work?

info at check in.Then got a receipt which showed we had OBC,at end of cruise a final bill was left in room nite before disembarkation.So you could see details and chose how to spend OBC(for tips,etc.).Ours was more so had to pay the balance.Can always check for updates re this at check in.;)
