Lisa Aussie Posted January 30, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 30, 2014 Hi my husband and I have never been a cruise before. Our TA has booked us into suit 2118 on celebrity Reflection. Does anyone know if this is in a good position and hopefully quiet. Wondering about the balcony, if shaded or obscured. Thanks from a newbie. crystalspin Posted January 30, 2014 #3 Share Posted January 30, 2014 (edited) Your suite is under the Lido (POOL) deck, and by lining up the forward-most staircases on the deckplans, your stateroom would be just at the edge of the deck-chair area for the Solarium Pool, next to but NOT under the Sundries Shop. On other ships, people in cabins under pool areas frequently mention being able to hear the deckchairs being dragged around -- during the day by guests and at night or early morn by the crew lining them up in their "normal" position. You might ask on the Celebrity 'board' about Aqua Class Suites on the Resort Deck 12, specifically under the solarium pool. You can ask about the "roof" or lack thereof over the balcony, as well. Celebrity Cruises Additionally, there is one cabin review for Aqua Class Suite 2111, HERE on the port side (you are starboard), just slightly forward of your cabin, under the corner of the chair area and a cafe -- and that reviewer did not mention noise. It appears that ALL Aqua Class Suites are under the pool-chair areas. The review for 1627 above the review for 2111 is in the wrong category, it is an Aqua Class cabin but not a suite.
