Celebrity Reflection shore excursion San Juan Segway tour

We are booked on celebrity reflection cruise 5 April 2014 to the Caribbean .

We are interested in doing the 2 hour Segway tour in San Juan. We have never cruised before and am wondering if there will be enough time to do the tour that leaves at 4pm. Our ship docks at 3pm. Will that give us enough time to get to the 4pm Segway tour? We are traveling in Aqua Suit which gives us priority disembarkation.

Has anyone done the Segway? Reviews all say it is great.

Hoping someone can advise.

You have more than enough time. We did that activity last year and loved it, great fun. The Segway company is a short walk from the pier. The ship doesn't leave San Juan until around 10 pm. Enjoy!

You will dock right in Old San Juan which I'm sure is very close to your tour.

 

The only problem (if you call it a problem) is once your tour is over it will be dark...or at least dark very soon after.

 

BTW, "priority disembarkation" isn't really what you think it is. It does NOT apply at each stop, and really only partially applies when you actually disembark at the end of the cruise.

We did the 3:30 p.m. tour last week in San Juan. There will be no problems getting to the 4 p.m. tour.

 

This was the second time we did the tour. I hope you get Natalia - she is great!

We did this tour last April & loved it! Be prepared for a very thorough orientation. They take your safety seriously! Once you get rolling it really is a fun way to see old San Juan.

DW and I did this last year and loved it. They have the timing down. Great experience and a whole lot easier than climbing the hill to El Morro.
