  1. I don’t mean to sound like $50 pp doesn’t matter, but is it worth it to spend a lot of time and effort to save $100 (assuming there are 2 of you in your party)? We go for it to save money or upgrade, but I wouldn’t spend hours just to save $50 pp. maybe that’s just me.
  2. We like the overhang on these M class Aqua cabins for the shade it provides. And Blu makes it worth - for us - to hear a bit of noise in the morning or at night.
  3. Another vote for ReliefBand. Works great. (Hi, Kathleen!)
  4. The only way Celebrity pricing makes sense any more is to sail in non-peak times, which many of us cannot. We prefer Aqua class, for Blu, but it was outrageous when we booked for March 2020, so we took a Veranda cabin. This cruise will make us Elite+ but I think we will start straying from Celebrity. For a special event in 2021, we wanted Aqua or a suite, but the prices were so incredibly crazy even a year ago that we booked a Regent cruise instead. For only $500 pp more, which includes specialty dining, drinks (including the minibar), gratuities, shore excursions, and internet. And the room is double the size.
  5. our TA waited online with us for Celebrity for 2 1/2 hours on Saturday as we wanted to take advantage of the 4 perks offer to upgrade our March cruise before final payment next month. She stayed online waiting for Celebrity even after we had to drop off. She secured our upgrade. And we received over $600 OBC from her as well. That’s why we use TAs.
  6. The wines used in this session are not special, just selections from onboard, such as their Celebrity Chardonnay and similar, both red and white. But like others have said, it’s fun, interesting, and you get hooked on Reidel wine glasses 😉
  7. I love your statement and your commitment, but in actuality, you do go to many countries that are not accepting of the LGBTQ community, starting with too much of the US, sadly. And most African countries, many South American nations, Eastern European, Caribbean, etc. Some are more overtly hostile than others, of course.
  8. Poss, we just bought insurance for our 2021 Regent trip through USAA, with excellent coverage for less than 10% of the cruise fare. Age will play a part, of course, but I am impressed with the coverage, compared to other insurance we looked into. It might be worth your while. Good luck!
