We visited the island of Rhodes while cruising on the Silhouette in October 2013 and had a great time. It was actually one of my favorite ports and very easy to diy.

We were on the Constellaiton in Nov 2013 and took the local bus to Lindos for the day. Loved Lindos and it defintely was not crowed that time of year.

Had been to Rhodes before which is one of my favorite Greek towns.

Thanks for the link to your review and the great pictures.

Some folks also just hired a taxi driver when they got off the ship for tour of Rhodes and then on the Lindos. Many options for this port of call.

It will be our first time there and we may just stay in the old city... are there some must-sees for that part? What about if we go to the new part?? What is the easiest way to get to the new city?
