Breakaway Library

How extensive is the Breakaway Library? Should we plan on bringing our own books? Thank you.

Not very much, and it isn't always open. I would suggest you bring a few books you have been meaning to read.

Looks like you're used to the 6,000-8,000 book libraries on Cunard's ships. None of the libraries on any of NCL's ships come close to offering as many books. Breakaway's library is particularly meager. There's only a handful of cabinets with books, so the selection is extremely limited. Most of the cabinets in the library are used to display Rockettes memorabilia. Perhaps some enjoy seeing these old theater costumes, but I thought it was a tremendous waste of potential library shelf-space.
