Meal Times

Hi everyone, we are Trevor and Denise White traveling on Celebrity Eclipse this November! We think we may pay the extra to have our evening meals when we want rather than set meal times. Has anyone else done this? Also what do people think of the speciality restaurants and it is worth buying that package... it is quite adding up all of these "Extras" I just need to know if they are worth it?? So looking forward to the cruise though

Hello Trevor & Denise,

You may have misunderstood. Flexible dining does not cost more just to eat when you wish.

It just means that you pay the service charge up front rather than onboard.

In the end it makes no difference since you should pay the service charge (aka gratuities) eventually.

I would plan to enjoy the main dining room experience first, but if you have a lengthy cruise it can make a nice change to try the specialty options.

Look at the website where menus are shown.

Then you can judge if you wish to have a few treats.
