The Splendor was Splendid!!! Just back from 1/28-2/5 cruise!

The ship was just awesome and the pink was kinda cool!

Not going to do a long boring review.

 

 

Got to the NYC port at 2:30pm and took 25mins to get on the ship

 

Was cold first 2 days. The Lido buffet was real cold day 2 and there was 4" snow out there.

 

Lido buffet was ok

Black pearl was amazing.

Staff was amazing.

 

OV room was great in the AFT area.

 

Rained in Port Carnavel

Sunny in Nassau

Sunnny in Freeport

 

Superbowl was on everywhere.

 

Hung out in the AFT pool area on the hot days and got good color.

 

Red Carpet lounge really nice.

Went to Cool bar and Morocco bar often.

The Shows were good

 

Did some casino and not much money lost

 

Debark was easy as pie, walked right off the ship and dragged all our crap to look for a taxi. Snow/slush everywhere.

 

We enjoyed the ship and cruise very much. Would love to sail the Splendor again. :)

I love the superbowl! Will you post any pictures??? :D What size was the biggest TV onboard? :confused:

 

Well..the Superbowl was on the Lido deck screen and the inside theatre screen.

Plus the sports bar and all the cabins got the game to.

 

The cabin tv was about 26" maybe.....Not sure

Hey if you get the chance and have a scanner or can take pics of the Funtimes for the cruise. That would be great. Thanks.

 

I think I have most of the funtimes. I will will try and get them on here. But they are all at my GF's house in the other luggage.

Ok wow great thanks a bunch. I have to show hubby all the great things to do onboard to get him to book and but quick. Still waiting to hear about 2 vacation days pending. Sigh. Glad it was fun. Also did you ever notice any bad smells? What OV deck were you on? Thanks again.

I was hoping for a long, "boring" review with lots of pictures but I can understand why you wouldn't want to do all of that work.

 

Glad you enjoyed your trip and thanks for your thoughts.

 

I doubt I post any pix. To much work and its easy enough to see everything the ship has on the net. Very beautiful ship though.

So glad you had a great time! What cabin # did you have and was it quiet surrounding it?

 

We sure did, Thanks.

We had 2450. It was quiet there and was not to far to the AFT elevators.

 

Most of the action in on deck 5 (clubs-casino-shops) and 9 ( Lido buffet- outside deck).

I loved your succinct review...I am glad you had a great time...

 

What a game...if you were a Bronco fan as we are, what a shock...but fun to watch on a ship..that is just cool...welcome home...

 

Hey thanks...

 

Im a Jets fan but since they were not in the game, we rooted for the Seahawks.

So, we were pleased with the result. :)
