leonardofan Posted February 5, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 5, 2014 Viking's brochure says pax in minimum rate cabins can't make specialty restaurant reservations. Does anybody understand what that means? No access at all? Availability at the last minute on a space available basis? Seems beyond bizarre to have a balcony cabin on a premium ship and be treated as an untermensch.

From this chart I have to assume you can still dine in the specialty restaurants - just no priority or guaranteed reservations. Of course, depending on how popular they are, this may mean you will probably have to wait in line - which is no fun. This is just an easy way for Viking to make the higher price cabins more attractive.
