Post cruise hotel, part two...

I now have reservations at Shades, All Star Movie and Pop. Need to cancel two. Prices similar. Thoughts?

 

2 more days till we leave on the Fantasy!

All Star and Pop are essentially the same hotel with different decor. That leaves you with the question of whether you want to stay at the military hotel or a WDW value resort. Since I've never stayed at Shades, can't answer that one. But my sis hated it (keep in mind that she tended to not like a lot of military stuff.....)

I would vote for Shades (but I'm biased because that is where we are staying after our cruise). I think they have a 30 day cancelation policy though. Are you going to have enough time to cancel it?

I've stayed at Shades and the value resorts. I would stay at Shades again without hesitation. You couldn't pay me to return to a value. My two cents.

By the way, there is no "military stuff" in Shades as far as decor. It's not all that different from the Hilton in Downtown Disney if I recall.

Didn't mean decor was military. Sis just has/had issues with all things DOD. Also, based on her husband's rank, it was often cheaper to stay at a regular WDW hotel....depending on season, what deals WDW was offering, etc.

 

NOTHING wrong with the hotel at all. She was just the sort of person who would rather be off base than on whenever possible...and that feeling carried over to DOD hotels.
