Any news on the wine limit on Emerald

I read that this new 2 bottle wine limit is not really looked after. Any experience in the last weeks? Did you had good or bad experience?

You can bring 1 bottle per adult pax aboard. Any more bottles will be charged $15/bottle and you can take them to the MDR since the corking fee will have been paid. From what I am reading it is a hit and miss situation.

Nobody was checking when we were boarding in Ft. Lauderdale, they were checking and enforcing in Dominica. This was late January.

We boarded the Emerald on 1/28 with 2 litre boxes in a back pack. No one said to go over to the table and have the wine noted against our cabin #. DH brought back some local beer at several of our ports and nothing said about the beer.
