Formal Nights on Coral

We are cruising with Princess for the first time on 4 March - Panama Canal. Getting close now. Can't wait - we are from UK and weather abysmal here. Rain, rain and more rain. A couple of questions re formal nights.

Does anyone know what nights will be the formal nights?

Also do people dress up if they are going to any of the speciality restaurants

instead of the MDR on the formal evenings? Thanks

Smart casual is the requested attire for the specialty restaurants on all evenings including the formal ones.

 

However on formal nights, some people will dress up (suits, etc.) even if dining in the buffet or a specialty restraurant. You will not be out of place being in smart casual there in formal evenings.

On our 15 day Panama Canal (FL to CA) our formal nights were Day 3, 8 and 13. There was a variety of dress (pantsuits, cocktail dresses & formal dresses for women and mostly suits for men).
