kruzseeka Posted February 9, 2014 #2 Share Posted February 9, 2014 Don't think Thomson do any veteran discounts. Never heard of it and I think it wouldn't be likely given they have no loyalty scheme. As for your booking situation I think part of the problem may be if members of your party are flying from different airports. I'd suggest you run through this at a Thomson shop face to face with someone. Obviously you want to coordinate your bookings as the single from Manchester needs to be linked with the Glasgow cousin in terms of sharing a cabin to benefit from the shared room price (i.e. you don't want to pay a single supplement). I don't think the online booking service could cope with that.

geomagot Posted February 17, 2014 #4 Share Posted February 17, 2014 no veterans discounts from thomsons directly but some travel agents may offer something? I have seen various travel agent ad banners on some forums (like forces reunited) that advertise a discount?

UNQUOTE It's Princess Cruises that gives veterans discount, not Thomas Cook. http://www.princess.com/military_benefit_program/#.UwJty4VWs0Q You'll get it regardless of which TA you deal with, as long as you apply correctly. It was only extended to UK (and Commonwealth) vets about 3 years ago, previously only US and Canadian ex military were eligible.
