Days Inn Orlando Airport

Anyone every stay at the Days Inn Orlando Airport? I'm interested in a less expensive night stay pre-cruise. Normally we've stayed at a hotel style property vs. a motel but this has ok reviews it seems. Just wanted to get cc thoughts. Is it a safe location? It does have airport shuttle that we need. We are getting picked up by family the next day to head to the port so no need to have shuttle there.

 

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Just my opinion here but not all areas around the Orlando airport are that great.

 

We have stayed at the LaQuinta Orlando Airport North and been very happy with the extra clean rooms, indoor corridor sytle hotel, airport shuttle, pool, breakfast and lots of restaurants to walk to. They recently won the TripAdvisor Award of excellence. The rates are pretty darn good and the area is next to a park-like setting and a safe area, IMO.

 

Check them out to compare room rates and if you have AAA or AARP or such, you can save some $$$.

***** Don't get this LaQuinta North mixed up with the LaQuinta West. Totally different area and totally different experience.

Thanks for the idea. I had checked out that La Quinta and the cheapest rate there is about $95 vs. $47 for the Days Inn which i like better but wanted to get some feedback here.
