Just curious what the cost of internet is on the Spirit and what the deals are for 9 nights.

There are a couple of options. Can't remember exact prices but I think the slower 1 device option was about $60 for the cruise. The faster multi device option was over $100 from memory. We took the cheaper version and found it ok for our needs (just checking emails on the laptop once a day and surfing a few sites for activities in ports). Definitely slow but bearable. Wifi works throughout the ship but speed improved in quieter areas. We found the Jungle Walk area to be faster than our cabin.

When we were onboard Carnival Spirit last June prices were...

 

High Speed (they said significantly faster) unlimited wifi devices and the Internet Cafe

29.99. Per day or 139.99 for the cruise which was 10 days

 

Basic. limited to 1 Wifi device and Internet cafe

59.99 per cruise.

 

All plans allow one person or device to be connected at a time.

We were on Spirit in July and took the higher multi-unit option. We were travelling with another family and shared the cost. It worked out cheaper than each of us getting the single unit option and meant all 8 of us could use our various devices to check emails etc. We never struck any difficulties in working out access between us.

Was on spirit in march 2013 and just got off yesterday it has changed these are the new prices

480 minutes for $159

240 minutes for $89

120 minutes for $59

45 minutes for $29

Or pay as you go $0.75 per minute

You can only use 1 device at a time
