Thinking of doing this. Says we have 40 minutes in Maho Beach. I think this is the last stop so it would be early afternoon. What are chances of seeing a plane take off or land with just 40 minutes there?

They'll know when the planes come in. Most flights arrive between 12PM and 3PM and they're pretty frequent during that time.

We've been with Bernard before...Top notch for sure. He had us to Maho at just the right time. Have fun!!

They have all the big arrivals (KLM, Air France 747s) memorized.

 

Sunset Bar will have a schedule posted. There's always something on the way in.

Do people think the plane landing thing be a little scary for younger kids? My eight year old would love it; but I'm concerned about the 4 and 5 year old. Also not sure what the 80 year olds would think.

I have toured St. Martin with several different guides including Joyce Prince and Bernard who both were good. Before deciding, check out Jo Junie tours. His private tours are only a few dollars more than the group tours and he is great. He sees to it that you get to see everything, and yet you can spend more time or less time at certain places, depending on what you prefer. We just went with him in February and paid $60.00 each for a private tour with the 6 of us. He was very entertaining, informative, flexible and felt like an old friend by the end of the tour. Has new vehicles with excellent AC, and plenty to drink with his compliments. By far, my favorite in St. Martin, and of others according to Trip Advisor.
