LAX2FCO Posted February 16, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 16, 2014 We have a group of 11 and a baby for the Verandah suites and have Priority boarding on our boarding passes. My husband thinks we can board at 11:30, but the boarding pass says embarkation 1-4:30. Which/who is correct? Are there tables in the main dining room big enough for our group of 11 and a highchair all at one table? Do we request that at boarding with the Maitre d'? On disembarkation day is the main dining room open for breakfast? Thanks

We were on the Magic last spring break and we were at a table for 12, I assume Inspiration will have the same size tables. Yes the main dining room is open for breakfast on disembarkation dat. Enjoy you cruise, Inspiration was our first Carnival cruise and first cruise for our children and we loved it!!

DANCING GRANDMOMMY Posted February 16, 2014 #4 Share Posted February 16, 2014 Are all of your booking numbers linked together. This is what lets Carnival know to seat you all together. We have had groups of 21 and of 12 and they have always but us together. The group of 21 was placed at three long table beside each other. All you have to do in have everyone's # and pin to link them.
candigirl Posted February 16, 2014 #5 Share Posted February 16, 2014 You will have a great time. It is always a good idea to check with the maître de upon boarding to make sure everything is as requested.

Hoping it works
xbatt8 Posted February 16, 2014 #7 Share Posted February 16, 2014 Boarding begins when the ship is cleared out. I have seen them board at 11:00 and I have seen them start at 1:30. Customs has a LOT to do with it. We did a B2B on the Imagination 2 weeks ago (same port) and boarding for the 1st leg started about 12:30. Boarding for the 2nd leg was the latest I have ever seen, and it didn't start until 1:30. Conversely, I have been on the ship having lunch at 11:30 before. So it really is a crap shoot when boarding will start. I would say neither is "right" until you see what actually happens. :) Bob
vwrestler171 Posted February 16, 2014 #8 Share Posted February 16, 2014 Everyone I know who has cruised on the Inspiration out of Long Beach has had delayed boarding. I wouldn't plan on getting on until at least noon, probably closer to 1.
