drew sailbum Posted February 17, 2014 #3 Share Posted February 17, 2014 I think autocorrect has taken another post. Decoding through the blur... I think it was a reference to snorkeling out to the wreck of the Kittiwake. That wreck was intentionally sunk in a sand patch which is near the West Bay Cemetery Beach. It is quite a swim from shore, even with fins. And there is a lot of boat traffic. I do not recommend snorkeling out that far. If you do then you MUST tow a diver's down flag for your safety. bookbabe Posted February 17, 2014 #4 Share Posted February 17, 2014 And if it's the Kittiwake, you have to go with an excursion or buy a wristband - you can't just head out on your own. http://www.kittiwakecayman.com/entry-fee/

I get it. Sounds like they liked it and want to know what the name of it was. Thanks Drew.
babysmama Posted February 17, 2014 #6 Share Posted February 17, 2014 I agree with Drew. It is pretty far to swim out to. Please wear a vest. It will wear you out, and I am a pretty hardy swimmer.
