Are there Mahjong games in the game room on the Epic

We have been on the Epic before and will be sailing on her again in 2 weeks. We can't remember if they have Mahjong games available in the game room. Does anyone remember?

We were on the Epic last February and there were several MahJong games in the game room. Enjoy!

The problem that I've encountered with MJ games on ships is that you will almost certainly not find one complete set in one case. You'll probably need to go through at least 2 or 3 sets and merge them into one complete set. This happens usually because kids will play with the sets like they're building blocks and get them all mixed up.

 

If you absolutely want to ensure playing with a complete set, you should pack your own. When I was on the Breakaway last fall, the game room was filled with people using their own sets brought from home.

I was just on the Epic in January, there were sets, I don't know if they were complete or not, because we couldn't find any players until the last day and that person brought her own set, we brought our cards with us. We're going on the Getaway April 5th and I'm going to bring a mini mah jong set that I have, I hope we can find players. On Royal Caribbean they have boards where you can leave messages and see if anyone wants to play, they didn't have that on the Epic, so I'm guessing they won't have it on the Getaway.
