You can try going to the MTD podium at the entrance to the dining room. If there is room in MTD, they will switch you, and charge you full gratuities immediately.

There's a small distinction if you had not prepaid gratuities.

 

If you had not prepaid and didn't want MTD, then they would charge $12/pp per day to your onboard account. You could also discontinue automatic gratuity charging by making a request at Guest Services.

 

Once you go to MTD, the full amount of gratuities are charged, and they cannot be removed.
