Taxi vs shuttle help

Does anyone know what a taxi cost from a hotel around the airport to the cruise terminal? Or does anyone know a hotel around the airport that will pick up from airport and shuttle to cruise terminal the next day. The hotel prices closer to the terminal are outragious the weekend of April 5,6. I am talking $400 plus. Something going on right in town that weekend.

Wrestlemania is that weekend. Huge PPV event. Should be an interesting crowd in town then. :D

Check out the Ramada Metairie/New Orleans Area. Last I checked, it had a free shuttle from airport to hotel, from hotel to French Quarters (on weekends), and from hotel to cruise port. We were originally booked there but changed to the Embassy Suites so we could walk to the cruise terminal.
