How to use NCL gift cards

We got a few NCL gift cards for Christmas. Can we bring these to the desk on the ship and ask that they be applied to our account or must we physically use them to pay for drinks, specialty covers etc.?

Good question. We got a few for Christmas as well. I was able to use one online to put towards our final payment. I've had trouble using the other ones. I tried to use them to book a shore excursion and then pay the remaining balance with my credit card, but so far it is not working. NCL is not being particularly helpful.

 

I don't imagine you would physically use them to pay on the ship, I would guess that you would present them at the desk and they would be credited to your onboard account. That's just a guess though.

Absolutely, just bring them to the desk and they will be applied to your account.
