Could also consider May 1 in the morning. We are looking forward to seeing this part of the world for the first time. It has been on our list for several years. I am pretty sure all the available private tours available are booked and have been for 6 mos.... But you can try. You should check the roll call for your cruise, as the other poster advised. You may also want to consult http://www.easterislandspirit.com for availability. They cater to cruise tourism and according to the website, there's still availability for a few more. I've booked with them (quite some time ago) and they responded to inquiries quite swiftly.
