San Juan Evening Activities

Family and I just booked a cruise for June 2006. We aren't getting into San Juan until 3 PM and then leave again at midnight. Any suggestions for favorite activities? Any good tour operators? What were your favorite things to do in San Juan? Also when they say you will be in port @ 3PM....how soon after can you leave the ship to go ashore?
