Please sign the petition for Carnival to bring back the reggae/calypso bands

And I think this is a very smart move on carnivals part, catering to a younger crowd to insure that they become regulars will keep carnival afloat for the next 20-30 years. Innovation and change is the only way to keep from going stagnant

A DJ cranked to 11 playing garbage is not the caribbean experience. It's a way to numb peoples brains cheaper than paying a band that would set a proper mood. This is hardly innovation.

I know I sure miss the reggae on the decks. They could at least have them play live for a small timeframe, nothing like the sound of the steel drums.

You're entitled to your opinion. But your opinion won't change where Carnival is heading and it won't bring back whatever era of music you grew up listening too that has you so up on arms about today's music. It also won't bring back the golden days of cruising.
