We are cruising the norwegian fjords in june and was wondering if we will see whales or dolphins?

Not very likely unless your cruise takes you up to Northern Norway. But never say never :)

The best place for Whale safari is at Andoy(Andenes) on the Northern tip of the Lofoten Islands. Close to the town to Harstad.

There is a small population of tumlare (Porpoise), which are are closely related to Dolphins, in the waters at the Swedish west coast.

 

So I would guess that they also exist along the Norwegian south coast and there about.

Yes, Thats right, you can find porpoise in the North Sea of the coast of Western Norway.

But not sure if there are any "tours to watch" them.

If you get to see any its by chance so to speak.

Where are cruising from? You could see dolphins in the North Sea if you're lucky- I have seen Atlantic white-sided there. I have also seen harbour porpoises in the fjords, as mentioned above. Minke whales further north in Norway.

We are sailing from hamberg,going to bergen,olso,stavenger,ulvik and eidfjord
