Is it feasible to take a water taxi from airport to John Jeffries area rather than transit? We are arriving early morning 9 ish so we are looking at time factor I know the water taxi is approx $17 which is worth it if we are saving time.

However looking at water taxi map it looks like we are near #43 (see attachment) so does this mean we would be almost last stop, or should we just stick with transit or even a cab? Much appreciate.

I don't see the attachment, but I know the John Jeffries is on the Charles River and may not be easily accessible by water taxi. The fastest way to get there is to take the Silver Line bus (currently free) from the lower terminal area - be sure to get on the back door where there will be luggage racks. The step up onto the bus is only 4-6 inches. Go to South Station. When you get off the bus go to your right to the end of the platform where there is an elevator down to the Red Line Direction Alewife. Take any train three stops to Charles/MGH which is an accessible station. The John Jeffries is close to this station.

Stop 43 is Tudor Wharf in Charlestown. It's not close to John Jeffries. The water taxi isn't that convenient on the Logan Airport end either. You have to take an airport shuttle bus to get out to the Hyatt Harborside Hotel, which is where the dock is.

If you're really interested in riding around the harbor on a water taxi, check out the Rowes Wharf Water Taxi which offers a day pass for $25. You can use it to get to the Constitution on the north and to the JFK museum on the south and points in between. However, it's really not the best way from a Logan airport final to your hotel with luggage.
