Stargazing On The Magic

Recommended Posts

Is there a place on the magic that an amateur stargazer could

get away from all the light pollution and use binoculars to look

at the stars? You would think that being that far from urban

pollution that the sky would be dripping with stars.

 

 

Anyone actually done that.

Love wind ... I'm curious though if there is something about being at sea

like too much water vapor or something that makes the sky not be as

clear as you might expect. I searched on Triumph but could never find the

a good place.

Simply too much light pollution from the ship to see much than brighter stars. Also, it depends if the moon is dark. I've never been able to see the Milky Way even on the darkest nights - lots of stars, but only a faint haze at best.
