transfering onboard booking to TA

Recommended Posts

Hi! I don't usually do this. But I did it this time. I just received a confirmation from the TA with a new booking number. The TA claimed "they do this all the time". Is that true? There is no mention of my OBC. The answer was It takes a few days. Also, the new booking mentions that the $200 paid as a deposit is insufficient. I am now waiting (they said 72 minutes!) to speak to Celebrity myself. And woe be the person who says I have to go through the agent.

My TA OBC doesn't show up on the Celebrity site. Neither does the Celebrity OBC I have (Celebrity Passage) but I do have written confirmation. The only thing that shows is the 123 package. I booked with Celebrity then transferred a day later.

My TA tried to get another $700 or so out of us for the deposit since we only deposited $200 due to the Celebrity Passage. I told them no, please check into it. Ended up they didn't require it.

The booking number also stayed the same.

enjoy,
