Parking Jacksonville, FL Fascination?

I live within driving distance in florida, so I'll be driving up the day of.

 

It is just going to be myself and my 3 children so I need the easiest thing to do. Money is sort of an issue but I'd rather not have to lug 4 suit cases/carry on's and keep track of 3 kids when transferring from bus to taxi etc.

 

So what would all you experienced cruisers recommend?

We used Jetway Parking and Sean was great. It's about 10 minutes away from the port and they load your bags for you and unload them at the port and you can pass them on over to a porter - easy as pie! I think it was about $30 or $32 for the 5 days when we cruised on the Fascination back in February. Park at the port $15.00 a day $75.00 for a 5 day cruise. Porters in the parking area suggest $1.00 per bag. Short walk to the Terminal

That sounds perfect! If it was just myself and my husband I would try to save a little money and take a shuttle but blah on that with all these hens running all over the place I need it to be as easy as possible!

Do they valet your car or you have to go park it yourself after dropping the luggage?

You park yourself...... but every time we have parked at the terminal as soon as we open our trunk a very nice porter has met us at our car to take our bags. They have all been extremely nice!

 

And its a very short walk to the terminal......:D

I parked at the terminal and they said golf carts would come around to get our bags if we wanted and drive us to the port. there was ONE golf cart and I stood there several times watching him gather those closer to the port.

 

Parking there was my main complaint. It was bad.
