Falmouth is very small and very poor. If you remember the Steve McQueen movie, Papillion, I believe a few scenes were shot in Falmouth. It is pretty destitute. Still, I found it fascinating although I never took the tour. We walked around for a few minutes and then took a taxi to Montego Bay, where we had a great day swimming at doctors cave beach.
