Bodden Tour and South Shore Zip?

We have a private tour booked with Victor Bodden in a couple of weeks and are wondering if we can go to the South Shore zip line rather than the Mayan Jungle Canopy one mentioned on his website. I would guess with a private tour that they would take us wherever we want, but I don't want them to try and persuade us otherwise or give us a hard time about choosing a competitor's zip line. Has anyone else gone with a different zip line while on a private Bodden tour?

Bodden tour is yours to do whatever you please. Just say that is where you want to go..Should not be a problem...

Not the OP, but the I would choose the former because it seems more exciting. From youtube videos, it appear Bodden's lines are simply in a backyard type setting and not as interesting.

From looking at youtube videos and reading reviews here and on trip advisor, the zip lines at Victor Bodden's don't look to be as scenic or as fast and long. Everyone in our group has ziplined at other places before and we're looking for something more thrilling.

 

We're going to go ahead and stick with our private tour with VB and request to go to South Shore….hope there's no problems or attitude with this request! :)

You might want to check and ask him that exact question. He might not have a contract setup with South Shore if the other is his own or contracted with them. We did South Shore it it was very good. Longer, more senic and more line runs than we saw at Victors place (if it was Voctors Place which we were told). If he will not and you want South Shore check with Christopher's tour or Rony's. We used Christopher's tours and did the zip line, monkey farm and island tour and snorkleing and was very satisfied.

Wow…heard back from Victor already and he said no problem going to South Shore for ziplining. Very excited!

That will be our plan too then.. hmm maybe we'll do the west beach and para sailing first then go from there.

 

Having done ziplining in Whistler which was seriously fun, I'm skeptical that can be beat.. but it will be tropics versus in the snow :D

We booked with a different company (we enjoyed the South Shore part of it) and am waiting for a resolution before writing a review of this port.
