Hi

 

We are booked on a RCI cruise in October and paid the deposit

I have now found a Celebrity cruise we really really like

Is it possible to have my deposit transferred from RCI to Celebrity and cancel my RCI cruise

or will I have to cancel my RCI and wait for the money to put back on my card

You need to cancel your Royal cruise and pay a new deposit with Celebrity. It cannot be transferred. However, I have found that when I've cancelled a cruise in the past, my deposit was refunded to my credit card within a week.

You can ask, but I doubt it. Can you cancel and rebook. You should be able to do that if final payment is not past.

I suppose we will have to bite the bullet and pay the deposit as we do not want to let this cruise get away
