Was thinking about this beach for my family. How far is it from the docks? Is it good swimming for children? Does anyone know about what cab fare is for this beach?

It is a great beach; umbrella and chair rentals, choice of places to eat - about 15-20 minute cab ride , probably $10-12 for two, $15 to $20 for full cab. Because there is usually light surf, it might not be good for children used only to very calm water - in that case, think about Le Galion, another 10-15 minutes further north from the port
