DanAnna Posted March 18, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 18, 2014 Just back from a wonderful 7 day W. Caribbean cruise on Celebrity Silhouette. Took a 20 minute or so taxi ride to Calico Jack's. Had been on Grand Cayman twice before and did Sting Ray City. This time decided to spend more time on the ship and then lunch on 7-Mile beach. Jerk chicken was fantastic I must add. Here are just a few pictures to give you an idea of distance from ships and beach views. Enjoy!
BlueHonu Posted March 19, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 19, 2014 We were there last week on Conquest. We walked into town and took the #1 bus. They dropped us off at the Governors mansion. There is a small parking lot there and it wasn't crowded. We swam out from the white pickett fence about a football field and snorkeled. There is a small reef there with a decent bunch of fish. No current to speak of. After we were done snorkeling, we walked down to Calico Jacks. It took about 10 minutes. We got $5 lounges and $10 umbrellas. $45 in all for the 5 of us. It is a georgeous beach. Clean bathrooms. When we left, we just walked back up to the road and found another local bus. $2.50 pp each way. They dropped us near the port area.:)
