Priority boarding

Recommended Posts

Depends on the port. We have in the past gone up with the group to the priority check in and just said we'd like to check in together. Sometimes they let you sometimes they don't. Depends on how busy things are.

So it's worth asking, but don't be upset if they don't let you. I would assume though that you wouldn't have your Aunt checking in by herself and you would all go over to the regular line.

That is assuming she has her own room. If you are sharing a room, shouldn't be a problem since you are all on the same setsail pass.

Once we cruised with friends and the last time with parents, both first timers and without any status. No one ever asked or said anything.

But for us it would be no problem to wait with friends/family in the standard line.

We sailed on the Indy in February and our friends who are gold were

able to board with us in the priority line. For what it's worth I am not convinced that it is any faster in the priority line rather just a manner of

making all the lines shorter.
